Anti-reflective glass, also known as museum glass offers high transparency as it banishes almost all reflections and offers unrestricted vision. As a result, it’s ideal for a broad range of applications which require a high level of visual clarity, such as facades for buildings, display cases, museum exhibits, and upscale architecture.
Self-cleaning glass is glass with a special 'hydrophilic' and 'photocatalytic' coating on its one side. This coating is activated by UV rays. The photocatalytic action actually breaks down organic dirt that lands on the surface and prevents inorganic (mineral) dirt from sticking to it. Hydrophilic means that it ‘loves’ water so when it gets wet, the dirt is rinsed and the glass dries more quickly and evenly. Therefore, it stays cleaner for longer and gets easier to clean if necessary.
Anti-corrosion shower glass is a type of glass used in showers on which a protective coating has been applied. It is very transparent and does not alter the perception of colour, regardless of the thickness of the glass. Day after day, the glass is shielded from corrosion so that it does not turn whitish and keeps its appealing look. This treatment facilitates the maintenance of glass walls, for example in showers or bathrooms, that are subject to water splashing. The coating is very durable and does not create a problem in its industrial processing. Also, it must be thermally processed (tempered) in order for its properties to be ensured.
