TEMPERED GLASS

Thermally toughened glass is obtained by applying permanent surface compressive stress through a controlled heating and cooling process. In this way, the glass is given extremely greater mechanical and thermal resistance properties compared to ordinary float glass. Also, in the event of breakage, it breaks into many small pieces, so injury is avoided.
